If you’ve got a toddler at home, you know the importance of getting out of the house (or the hotel, if you're visiting!) — even if it’s just for an hour or two! Luckily, Las Vegas has plenty of fun, low-stress spots to explore with little ones. Here's 10 things to do with Toddlers in Las Vegas!
1. Discovery Children’s Museum
If you're going to do one thing in Las Vegas with toddlers it's got to be the Discovery Children's Museum! I have clocked in more hours than I can count playing with my kids at Discovery Children's Museum.
With Interactive exhibits, a pretend town, colorful play zones, and a water play area — this place is basically a toddler dream. There’s something new around every corner.
The most toddler-friendly exhibits at the Discovery Children's Museum are Toddler Town, Eco-City, and Water World.
PRO TIP! If you have flexibility for what day you are going to visit I recommend calling the Discovery Children's Museum and asking what days they have a field trip that week! The museum can get super busy on field trip days — making it harder for your toddler to play.
Discovery Children's Museum Parking
Parking at the Discovery Children's Museum can be a bit confusing because there are several parking lots/garage around the museum. However, where you want to park is adjacent to the museum. Do NOT park in the parking garage across the street from the museum, decorated with music notes — you will have to pay to park here.
If you park in the parking garage adjacent to the museum it is free. Just make sure and take your parking ticket into the museum and validate it while checking in. Be sure to also keep it in a safe spot because you will need to scan that same ticket when leaving the museum.

2. Toodley Town
An entire mini-town where kids can make believe? Yes please! Toodley Town (formerly known as Kids Town) is the cutest town where kids can make believe. At Toodley Town you'll find a Pizzeria, Burger Shop, Grocery Store, Mechanic, School, Flower Shop, Top Shop, and more! My toddlers always have so much fun going here!
Toodley Town is located at 5875 S. Rainbow Boulevard, Suite 110, Las Vegas, NV 89118 (right off of the 215 & Rainbow). If you're visiting Las Vegas it's about 15 minutes for the Las Vegas strip!

3. Springs Preserve
If you've been following me on social media for awhile you know how much I love the Springs Preserve! It's so beautiful and there is so much to do.
Here's my favorite things to do with Toddlers at the Springs Preserve:
Splash Pad: During the summer the splash pad is a must visit.
Playground: The Springs Preserve has two playgrounds. The playground nearest to the entrance is best for kids over 5; however, the little playground right next to the splash pad is perfect for young toddlers. It is a little bit of a walk to this playground so bring (or rent) a stroller!
Toddler Time! Best for preschool aged kids, the Springs Preserve Toddler Time is part craft + story time. Toddler Time is Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 11am
Animal Exhibits. If your kids are antyihng like mine the animals are a must visit! They are mainly reptiles to see at the live animal exhibits, but don't miss my favorite animal there — the fox!
Nature Exchange. For preschool aged children, and up, be sure to check out the Nature Exchange. Bring up to 5 nature items in exchange for points to "buy" items at the exchange. This was always a big highlight for my kids!

4. Dinosaur Outpost at Town Square
The Dinosaur Outpost at Town Sqaure is a hidden gem in Las Vegas! Located just 15 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip this Dinosaur filled exhibit is so. much. fun. for kids.
From the moment you walk in you enjoy countless animatronic dinosaurs that feel so real. Then sprinkeled thorughout the exhibit is over 35 interactive exhibits. My kids especially enjoyed riding karts around a volcano, shooting Brussel sprouts into the mouth of a dinsoaur, feeding dinosaurs "meatballs", brushing dinosaur teeth. They also have a "play area" so be sure to wear/bring socks with you.
3. Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay
This walk-through aquarium features sharks, sea turtles, and even a touch pool for little hands. It’s just the right size for short toddler attention spans and great on hot days.
5. Las Vegas Natural History Museum
Just a short distance from downtown Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, covers a broad range of topics, from paleontology and ancient civilizations to marine biology and regional wildlife.
.
If you have a toddler that loves dinosaurs you have to visit the Las Vegas Natural History Museum! My kid's favorite exhibit is the dinosaur exhibit, which includes life-sized models and fossil displays. Some other great exhibits include the African savana, ocean habitats, and Egypt exhibit.
The museum is relatively small, so it can be explored in an hour or two. It’s a low-key option for those looking for a break from the crowds or something educational to do with kids.

6. Public Libraries
Don’t overlook the local libraries! Many offer toddler storytimes, sensory play, and free activities throughout the week.
Even if you don't attend the special toddler programing, just picking out books and scanning them is so fun for toddlers.
7.Bellagio Fountains & Conservatory
Free and fun on the Las Vegas Strip. Toddlers love watching the fountains, and the indoor conservatory is full of colorful seasonal displays.
The Conservatory has four exhibits each year: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Click here to see what their current exhibit is.

8. Silverton Aquarium
A great free activity in Las Vegas is the Silverton Aquarium! The Silverton aquarium holds more than 117,000 gallons of water and has thousands of tropical fish as well as sharks and stingrays! At select times and days, they also have a mermaid shows and interactive stingray feedings.
The Silverton Aquarium is open 24/7, and best of all is free to visit and enjoy.
Silverton Mermaids
At select times they also have mermaids swimming in the aquarium! The mermaids are also free to watch. It's super fun for kids to watch this!
Silverton Interactive Stingray Feeding
During the interactive stingray feeding you can ask questions that a diver in the tank will answer! The fish and stingrays are very active at this time since they are feeding them!
Other Things to do at the Silverton Casino
Steps away from the Silverton aquarium is Bass Pro Shops! My kids love walking through the shop and seeing the taxidermy animals (like elephants, giraffes, and lions!). There's also a pretend toy "shooting range" (similar to one you'd see at a carnival).
