Kids get to move dirt and rocks as they operate their own mini excavator!
We've been to Dig This Vegas a handful of times and each time it's a huge hit. Our boys love construction trucks so getting to operate one themselves is a dream come true for them.
Children have to be at least 3 years old to ride in the excavator. If your child is less than 48 inches they must be accompanied by an adult.
You must schedule a reservation before going to Dig This Vegas. You can make a reservation by phone or online. Each digging session is 15 minutes and costs $20.
^ When you first arrive at Dig This Vegas there is a parking lot right in front of the building. You'll go inside the door that says "Enter Here" to check in and sign a waiver. After, you'll head to the mini excavators just to the side of the building.
At the excavators an employee will walk you through how to operate the machine — you'll catch on quick! During the 15 minutes you'll get to pick up and move rocks with your excavator. The excavators are fixed in place so you just move the arm of the excavator.
In addition to Kids Digs, they offer digs for adults with full-sized equipment. One time we were there they had an adult dig in session. They let us watch the session from the side. It was awesome to watch — they do some cool tricks with the machines! So keep an eye out for that as well when you go (or book an adult session yourself if you're interested!).
